First hockey training session after the off-season
After two months away from hockey, tonight will be the first training session back and will no doubt be a tough one.

England’s first international game since the World Cup
Tonight I decided to sit and watch the England vs. Hungary game, or at least have it on in the background whilst I work.
It’s been frustrating at times to watch and it hasn’t helped that I’ve been struggling to piece together a layout design that I am happy with.
England may be out, but the show must go on
Now that England are out of the World Cup, I assumed that Id be watching less football.
Turns out that this assumption was very wrong, as the games are getting more entertaining as we progress through the rounds.

New Skates: Bauer Vapor RX 60
At the beginning of the last hockey season I needed to acquire a new pair of skates after the previous pair had blocked one shot too many and lost all ankle support.
There were stocking and availability issues at the time so opted for a lower end model as a temporary measure for the season by buying the Bauer RX 05′s. more…
World Cup: England vs. Algeria
The England vs. Algeria game has just finished and like almost everyone else slightly bothered about the England football team, I was really dissapointed in the overall performance.
Unfortunately they all looked as if they were putting in a great amount of effort, it just wasn’t coming together for the players. more…
