When should you stop playing a game?
Whenever I see what looks like a possibly good game I tend to go and buy it. This isn’t to say that they all turn out to be worth the money and effort.

Battling with Hotmail refusing to accept email
I recently discovered that the emails sent through a web form to Hotmail email accounts were not getting actually through to the recipient.
This is a bit of an issue when the site in question relies on customer contact in order to take booking enquiries and was highly irritating as I had other work plans for this evening. more…
Achievement unlocked: 7 for 135G
Although it’s been a fairly busy weekend, I’ve managed to just about squeeze in over an hour of gaming on the xbox.
Due to a lack of time I found myself playing in small stints, so opted to playing Guitar Hero Van Halen rather than Aliens vs. Predator as the levels in AVP are quite long and I didn’t want to have to leave half way through without saving. more…
A quick reflection on some really old scripts
Almost four years ago when I started working at Fubra, I wrote a simple image resize script for one of the sites I was working on at the time.

Guitar Hero Van Halen (xbox 360) has also arrived
When another delivery turned up today at home containing Guitar Hero Van Halen, I completely forgot that I had ordered it.
The game itself was pre-ordered on the 19th December last year, coming with a free Les Paul guitar controller and Guitar Hero World Tour game. more…
