Adding a street lighting system to the LEGO town
Last year we (a few people at Fubra) began constructing a small LEGO town on some unused desk area, starting off with a few town essentials including a Green Grocer, Petrol Station and a large cargo plane.
The collection rapidly increased and a few weeks later we found ourselves adding a few plates of road, a farm and then even a railway amongst other additions.
Just before Christmas we (Jonathon and myself) began work on the addition of a street lighting system. This involved ordering a lot of parts from the Pick A Brick section (#4119500 #474001 and #3001140) along with 50 LED lights small enough to fit.
Each of the plastic posts had to be drilled through in order for the wire to fit and the LED above, topped with the small white parabola.
Today, we began installing and testing the first three lights, it’s slow progress at the moment but it’s all starting to take shape.

This is legendary. Full pics when done please.
Oh yes, I’ll be sure to post updates on any progress
